Provision of free and compulsory education has been identified as one of the cardinal objectives of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s led administration.
The speaker Kano state house of assembly, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim. Chidari made the assertion while presenting a brand new bus to Kano state parents teachers association.
Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari said provision of the bus becomes necessary due to the tireless efforts of the association in complimenting government’s efforts towards moving education forward.
He charged members of the parents teachers association to redouble their efforts towards uplifting the standard of education in the state.
In his remarks, the Kano state chairman of the parents teachers association Alhaji Sani Salisu Dan Hassan reaffirmed the associations readiness to work hard in moving education to international standard.
He commended the speaker for providing the vehicle,which will go a long way in reducing transportation problems encountered by the association during monitoring and evaluation of schools.
