About one hundred and fifty women have benefited from poultry training on broiler production in Kubau local government area, Kaduna state.
The council chairman Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman Zuntu disclosed this while flagging off the training in Anchau.
He said the training was a partnership between the federal, state and Kubau local government.
Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman Zuntu said the aim of the training was to empower women and youths to improve their living standard .
He pointed out that at the end of the training each participant would be given a package to begin their poultry farming.
Alhaji Bashir Zuntu charged the beneficiaries to utilize the resources and extend the skills they have acquired to train other people.
